An introductuion to Art

I had never done true art photography before working with Brie in 2008 for a student project.  I just like this image, the proportion, the hair and the grey scale.  It was a good introduction.

Photographer Unknown

2008 Photographer unknown

This is another photographer I have no idea who she was.  It was during the photography class that I modeled for.  I like the amount of light in the image, how soft it is and the look in my eyes.  The only thing I think that prevented me from using this in my portfolio was the hand. I like it and I dislike it.  I'm really not sure.

Sometimes modeling is about not being the center of attention

2008 Yaquina Photography and Lindsay O

Really its true,  Sometimes modeling is about helping someone else shine!  She really steals the shot here with her eye contact and confident body posture.  I just help her look AWESOM.

Rock and Roll

This photo makes me feel like a rock star every time I look at it.  I love the texture of my hair, how the brick building feels rough and run down to the eyes and how blown out my skin is.  Honestly it reminds me of a 1970's record cover.

Wide angle's make for interesting views

Back in 2008 I worked with Lance and the first time I worked with him ( think I worked with him twice) he busted out his brand new wide angle lens.

This, over the years, is one of my favorite photos.  I love how first you look at my fingers that points to my eyes.  The eye can then travel down the hair and back around to the fingers or down the body to the shy.  The color balance is lovely and I love the contrast of my hair with the shirt.  Overall it is a well framed, well edited and well posed.
